*Ian,my late cousin Marjory's husband, was a most warm & friendly character & so modest about his professional achievements. A most loving father & grandfather. With our love & condolences to Delyth's family & Marilyn his sister. from Paul,Carole & family.
Ian had a house in a small village in south-west France - Pontcirq, Lot. He loved being there and made many friends. Thank you, Ian, for the good times we spent together. Jean-louis, Bobbie, Alain, Aline, Alexandre and Lily.
I always enjoyed working with Ian when Leeds University field course visited the Institute of Naval Medicine (Gosport) or Portsmouth University each year, and when I went to Leeds to lecture. A positive, upbeat man with a wealth of knowledge and experience. A sad loss. Condolences to his family and friends. Mike Tipton.
